Trying to get a Therapy Pool to help with my Multiple Sclerosis
My Profile: http://iamtotallydesperate.com/?q=user/185
Hi, my name is Ian, I'm 34 years old. I live in South Carolina, in a house by myself.
While growing up I enjoyed Swimming, Tennis and Snowboarding. I had also played basketball, baseball, soccer and golf.
In February 2001 I was diagnoses with Multiple Sclerosis. I tried to hold out and keep working for as long as I could. In April 2007, I was forced to go onto disability.
My days are relatively stagnant and boring. I get up around Noon, take my medication, check my email, read some news and then pass out again from the fatigue and medication.
I'm noticing that my movement is becoming more restricted as I do nothing but sit here each day. My muscles are essentially wasting away.
Being that, for me "Time" is in abundance at this point in my life, I search the internet a lot, read news and any Multiple Sclerosis news I can find.
One day, I came across something that made my eyes light up. It is called an "Endless Pool", you can read more about them at http://www.endlesspools.com/main.html
This would be an absolute fantastic tool for my condition, and it would also help me improve and/or maintain my muscle mass and muscle function, so I'm not wasting away while I sit in my house by myself.
It would allow me feel that I have a purpose getting up everyday, knowing that I have this tool, which will help me physically and also help me mentally.
I would sincerely appreciate your kind gift.
Thank you and God Bless.
Respectfully,
Ian

I hope many of you are able to have found some help out there.
If you haven't yet, Good Luck.

I've got one donation so far, in six weeks. Not too bad I guess.
I read your profile and it makes me want to have $20,000. So I can give it to you. Thank you for the hope and your thoughts. I makes me feel a little better.
If nothing else, I hope this message make you feel a little better.
And if I find $20,000 under my couch... I'll drop you a line ;)
Thank you...
Thank you very much.
My apologies for replying so late, I wasn't feeling too good for a while and the summer heat is really not good for MS at all, then when I started feeling a little better I had to remember places that I was going on the net before summer began.
I guess we'll have to start inviting millionaires to our homes, so we can look through the couch cushions for money after they leave. ;)
I hope you have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.
Respectfully,
Ian
