I'm really bad at asking for help.. So, I'll just tell you about our situation.

I'm a 24yo female with chronic pain in my back, shoulders and hips. My boyfriend is 23 and has pins in his knees which need to be reset, sometimes causing him severe pain when he walks.

We've been sleeping on an air mattress for the past 4 months. This is actually more ideal for us than any bed we've slept on so far.

We went to a friends house on New Years and took our mattress with us. We forgot our pump so we didn't get to air it up. We brought it home and filled it back up on Friday. When we woke up on Saturday it was completely flat. We've tried to find it so we could patch it, but we've had no luck.

We've both been in tremendous pain since this has been happening, so we really need to get a new air mattress, but we can't afford it. I'm really hoping that I can get us a new mattress for our 6 month anniversary, which is a week from now. I don't know if it's possible to raise $40 in a week, but it would make us both really happy.

Having said this.. Maybe there's somebody out there who can help us?
